Love it

First off let me apologize for not posting in a while. Life has sent me through some pretty crazy loops in the last few weeks and time seems to be getting faster and faster. The purpose for this post is that in order to make physical fitness a part of your life you have to LOVE IT.

There is a reason that I always say find what you like to do and then make it work for you. Some people aren’t cut out for running just like others aren’t stoked on lifting weights at the gym. The thing that you need to know is that all activities will work together to give you the body you have always dreamed of.

You need to broaden your horizons when it comes to activity. Even though I say find what you love and make it work for you, one form of activity isn’t going to cut it. You might see a lot of results from your zumba class in the beginning but after a while your body will get used to it and stop responding.

The key to that sexy body you want is cardio, weight training, core and flexibility. I am not saying go to the gym and lift 100 pounds, you don’t even have to go to the gym to do weight training. You just have to find an activity that you like that involves resistance on your muscles, like water activities.

Another big key is to make a goal! I say this all the time, make a goal to help keep you motivated during your start because sooner or later that goal is going to turn into a lifestyle and you won’t feel normal unless you have WORKed IT. Its like the best, legal drug you can get. It clears your mind, makes you smile and helps your body all at the same time, talk about amazing!

So if you are ready to start your journey to a happier, healthier you then get up off the couch and starting figuring out what activities you love to do. If you make fitness a part of your life you won’t regret it!
